It Began at a Market Table
Unity Farms started the way the best things do — at a market table, season after season, getting to know the people who grow things well. What began as a family selling the best of each harvest has grown into something we're deeply proud of: a trusted name at farmers markets across Charlotte.
Today we work with a network of small, independent family farms, many of them right here in North and South Carolina. We're still a family business at heart, and you'll still find us behind the table every week, happy to talk about what's ripe and what's coming next.
We believe the future of good food is local and decentralized — not one big farm growing everything, but many small farms each doing one thing beautifully. The orchardist who knows exactly when a freestone peach wants picking. The berry grower whose rows have been in the family for generations. We seek out the best of every season, wherever it grows finest, and we stand behind every bit of it.
