Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 10, 2026Unity Farms is committed to making our website and our market experience accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe fresh, local food should be for the whole community.
Our Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This website is built with that goal in mind and is reviewed as we make updates.
What We've Done
- Semantic HTML structure with proper headings and landmarks
- Descriptive alternative text on images
- A "skip to main content" link for keyboard and screen-reader users
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on links and controls
- Color combinations chosen for readable contrast
- Reduced-motion support: animations are disabled for visitors whose devices request less motion
- Text that can be resized without loss of content or function
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix. As we add new pages and features, we test them against the same standard. Some third-party content we link to (such as social media platforms) is outside our control.
At the Market
If you need assistance at either of our market locations — carrying items, reaching products, or anything else — just ask. We're happy to help.
